A negative result does not exclude the possibility of pancreatobiliary carcinoma. In the presence of other evidence suggesting pancreatobiliary carcinoma, additional clinical studies should be considered.
Positive: A positive result indicates that one or more numeric chromosomal abnormalities commonly associated with pancreatobiliary carcinoma were identified within this specimen
